The Earpiece Is Falling Out Of My Ears
Please try all 8 sizes of our ear domes. The most common reason for the earpiece falling out is that the ear dome you're using is too small or too large.
If you need different sizes, we are happy to send them to you. Just email us at support@truhear.co
Additionally, your body may be producing more ear wax now that you're wearing hearing aids. Clean both your ears and the hearing aids regularly.

The Whole Hearing Aid Is Slipping/Wobbling
Two common reasons this happens:
- Sweat or slippery skin behind your ear. Clean behind your ear and the hearing aid.
- Incorrect fit: Ensure the earpiece is inserted deeply, and the wire sits snugly behind your ear.

There's No Sound Coming From My Hearing Aids
If you're not hearing anything, there are two likely causes:
- Dead battery: Fully charge your hearing aids, and they should work fine.
- Volume is turned down: The volume dial needs to be slightly above the minimum for the hearing aids to function.
My Hearing Aids Are Making A Clicking / Tapping Sound
A clicking or tapping sound usually indicates a low battery. Fully charge your hearing aids to resolve this issue.
I'm Getting Whistling From My Hearing Aids
Whistling or feedback is common, but it's easy to fix. Follow these steps:
- Use the right ear dome size: Test all 8 ear domes to find the best fit. Need help changing them? Watch the tutorial here.
- Lower the volume: If the volume is too high, whistling can occur. Start low and increase gradually.
- Check the fit: Ensure the hearing aids fit snugly behind your ear. See the fit tutorial here.
- Charge the hearing aids: Low battery can also cause feedback. Fully charge them.
- Clean earwax: Earwax buildup in your ears or on the hearing aids can cause whistling. Clean both thoroughly.
